Elaina Barron, D.Min., is a certified spiritual director who offers soul care and discipleship to women around the world. For thirty years she has been caring for the church and women of all ages in the areas of next steps, transitions, marriage, parenting, listening to the Spirit and deepening their walk with God. Her educational background includes a Doctorate of Ministry, a Masters of Divinity and a Bachelors in Business. She is the co-host of the “What You Love” podcast, and offers soul care and discipleship to women across the nation.

Aubrey Charette B.A.
Aubrey Charette, B.A., is a counseling intern at the Interfaith Counseling Center providing free or low-cost counseling. She works with teenagers and adults in a safe, supportive counseling setting, helping them work toward emotional healing and a deeper, more holistic understanding of who they are. Her particular areas of interest include anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, stress, burnout, and religion/spirituality. Having worked in full-time church ministry for five years after college, she is passionate about partnering with local churches to improve their staff and congregation’s emotional health through counseling services and mental health education. Her educational background includes obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Asbury University and currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Asbury Theological Seminary. As a third year graduate student therapist, she meets regularly with a licensed mental health professional to supervise her clinical work.

Dr. Jennifer Degler Ph.D.
Jennifer Degler, Ph.D., is one of the two Clinical Directors at the Interfaith Counseling Center. She is a licensed psychologist, life coach, speaker, and author. Jennifer received her Doctorate and Master’s Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She counsels adults and couples.

For clients who experience troubling symptoms related to past traumatic events, she is trained to provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy).
While the difficulties her clients face vary, some common presenting problems include: Excessive Worry Prolonged Sadness Loss of Joy Overwhelming Grief Feeling Out of Control Feeling Overly Stressed Social Anxiety Spiritual Emptiness
Many of her clients are having a hard time coping with new life circumstances, such as becoming a parent, getting divorced, changing jobs, moving to a new area, losing a loved one, and so on.

Jennifer does not treat or provide services for: Child custody evaluations Substance abuse or addictions Eating disorders Cutting (self-injury) Same-sex attraction Out-of-control teens Court-ordered clients Because she is not a physician, she cannot prescribe medication, but she can work with your doctor (or refer you to a good psychiatrist) if medication would benefit your treatment.

Richard “Rick” Landon, D.Min., is one of the two Clinical Directors of the Interfaith Counseling Center. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is also a Psychotherapist (ACPE) and a Spiritual Director (SDI). He is endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. He has educational degrees from Oklahoma Baptist University, University of Oklahoma, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Lexington Theological Seminary. He has been an Adjunct Professor with The Baptist Seminary of Kentucky and a Chaplain/Pastoral Counselor with The Lexington Theological Seminary. He has worked with mission families in Europe through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
